STAHR, STARR
posted by Lisa Starr on Sunday, March 2, 1997

I am looking for any information on a Charles
Montgomery STARR including parents, etc.. My information shows he was born
January 18, 1890 in Shelbyville. Any other information on STARR (also possibly
spelled STAHR) family would be most helpful. I am told we are related to
the STARR that married into the Cherokee Tribe through Caleb STARR sometime
in the late 18th century and that we are also related to the notorious
outlaw Belle STARR. I have not been able to make the connection yet through
family lines. Charles Montgomery STARR would be my grandfather. Thank you
for any insight or help.

I am searching for information about William
ROBERTS who resided in Shelby County in the late 1700's or 1800's. Was
he related to the ROBERTS who were in Mississippi? What is his connection
with the NEVILL family? There was a dispute over some of his property in
Logan County in early 1800's. Did he ever live there?
