HORNSBY, WILLIAMSBURG posted by Doug Hornsby on Tuesday, September 3, 1996: Joseph HORNSBY, b.1746?? in Shelby Co by census of 1810, married Mildred Thomas Walker 1-Jan-1789, had a brother WIlliam HORNSBY, d.1804. Joseph HORNSBY moved from WILLIAMSBURG. Joseph was son of Thomas HORNSBY, buried in courtyard at Bruton Parish in WIlliamsburg. Can anyone confirm any of this in SHelby Co. Thanks!!

Elizabeth MARRAL in Va. and moved his family to Ky. between 1795-8 as his youngest son Moral was born in Ky.His children were John,Samuel,William,James,Jesse Robert and Moral.John and Samuel were married in Jessamine while the rest were married in Shelby co.Samuel married Nancy DILLON d/o Thomas DILLON. Samuel moved his family to Hickman co. Ky. I have much on this family and little on the others would like to exch. data.Samuel also married Susan WALTERS GILMAN between the two women he had 19 children.I am descended from him and Nancy's son John who married Margaritte A. SUTTON in prob. Jessamine co. and then Hettie Esther CAMPBELL in Jefferson co. Hettie was the d/o John who I believe was from Jessamine co. he died in the late 1840's Hickman co.Would appreciate any help on this line.Will be glad to exch. any data.
