James WARD, a Methodist minister and Elizabeth
TODD were married James WARD, a Methodist minister and Elizabeth TODD were
married in Shelby Co., KY in 1824. He was 51 and she was 37 years old.
It was his second marriage and probally her second. Was TODD her maiden
name or her widowed name? If so, I would like to know the name of her first
husband and her maiden name.The 1850 Census of Oldham Co., KY shows James
and Elizabeth with a next door neighbor by the name of Catherine TODD as
head of household with the following children: daughters Ali,age 11; Martha,
age 9; and Laura age 3; and a son, Henry, age 6. Any information on this
family will be appreciated.

TUCKER, born Nov 1823 in Halifax Co., VA. He married Sarah Louisa GRAVES
in Sep 1851 in Shelby Co., KY. She was his third wife. He died in Sep 1899
at Southville, Shelby Co., KY at Southville in Shelby Co., KY.

TORR/TARR/TROXEL Looking for any information
on the Torr family, who lived in Shelby County, near Finchville in 1800
and after. William Torr and his wife, Mary Troxel, came to Shelby County
from Frederick Co. Va. Mary was supposed to have died in Scott County.

in Shelby County, Kentucky. Moved to Dubois County, Indiana c.1821 later
to Washington County, Indiana. RODMAN b.1788 Jefferson County, Kentucky
then parents moved to Shelby County, Kentucky same year. Who were parents
of Elizabeth MCCLAIN?

Wife Nancy was widow of Richard HOAGLAND/HOGLAND. Was this John the son
