I am searching for any information on Jones, John Thomas MORGAN born Aug 5, 1861 in Shelby County (Simpsonville ?) Kentucky. He married HAYNES, Iva (B Mar 15, 1874 D: Jan 23 1954) and later died in Pilot Point Texas (Jan 25, 1925). Iva HAYNES father was Robert Bell Haynes (B 11/27/1832 D: 10/4/1895), and her mother was Seignora DRAKE (B 10/20/1831 Tenn D: 8/6/1900). Specifically interested in any information on John Thomas MORGAN (parents, etc.). I have listed all I know about the others so anything additional would be appreciated. Thanks

Surnames in my search include: CATLETT, COOK, COTTON, NATION, SHIELDS, SMITHA, SPAULDING, WHITEHOUSE. Traced to Anderson, Shelby and Spencer counties. I'm mainly interested in info on the CATLETT and WHITEHOUSE line. Edward CATLETT married Melvinia COOK (daughter of "Blue" Andy COOK) approx 1895-1910. They drifted around between Shelby and Spencer co. They had 4 children, Gilbert B, Howard, Burnice, and Fannie Mae. There are 3 separate CATLETT families in my line. John Urvin WHITEHOUSE married Mary GUNTER approx mid 1800's. They had at least 5 children, Annie Mae, Susie, Frank, William, and Andrew H.

GGGrandparents were Benjamin GRIFFEN born 11/15/1806 and Melvina (BRUMBACK) GRIFFEN born 7/14/1806. Birthplaces unknown. Melvinas siblings were William, James and Cathern. My GGrandmother, daughter of Benjamin and Melvina, was Armilda Ama Susan Jane GRIFFEN was born 4/28/1844 in Irvine, Ky. Estil Co/Fayette. Ky. Her brothers and sistesr were Charles 7/28/1842; Jessie 9/25/1845; Mary 6/11/1845; William 10/15/1849 and Elisabeth 2/22/1850. Armilda married Madison MOORE who was born in Madison IN 8/1832. They were wed 9/30/1864 in Madison Co. KY. I have only the record of my grandmother Mary Frances (Polly) MOORE who was born to Madison and Armilda at Winchester KY. Clark/Madison Co. 10/8/1865. Mary Frances married William SANFORD who was son of Youell Sanford and Caroline Wortman/Workman. Youell was the son of William R. SANFORD of Mercer Co. KY and Elizabeth THRELKELD of Shelby Co. KY. I really need information on Benjamin and Melvinas birth place and Madison Moores also.

Searching for CAHOE or KAHOE or CAHO Family that lived in Ky. Counties of Washington,Nelson or Shelby proir to 1800. Ruth CAHOE born 1 Jan 1800 in KY. married James G. WINDER in 1824 in Harrison Co. Ind. James G. WINDER was born in Bucks Co. PA. in 1794 1794 and was in Hardin Co. KY. in 1820. The writing on the marriage record is not legible, this is the reason for the different spelling of Cahoe, it could also be COHOE. Any help would be appreciated. I am not sure where the Cahoe Family migrated from probably Maryland.
