Query: This is my gg-grandfather, what I have here is all I know. Some information has his birth place as North Carolina. His daughter, Amanda lists it as Kentucky on one of the census. He was married to Cynthia Kennedy in Kentucky, perhaps Calloway County. He died in Boone County in 1845. I would love to know who his parents were, what caused his death, etc. Any other new information would be greatly appreciated.

Query: My husband's grandfather was supposedly born in Wilmington, KY and moved to Lima,OH in his early 20's. He then moved to Indianapolis, IN and died there in 1962. Some of the sons stated that he was Indian from an orphan train and grew up in an orphanage in KY. Some other sons and daughters stated that we was part Indian and was born in KY and grew up in an orphanage in KY. His WWI and WWII draft cards have different years of birth and state that we was white with light blue eyes and dark brown hair. His wife would never talk about his lineage. I understand that Wilmington, KY does not exist and longer. He is listed in the 1930 Federal Census in Indianapolis, IN with his wife, Gladys, and children. In the 1920 Federal Cenus he appears in Hamilton Cty, OH with Gladys and children. The 1910 Census (I cannot find him in). The 1900 Census has a Allen Waters in Hamilton Cty, OH with wife Jesse and son Allen, Jr. (born 1887), but I do not know if this is his parents or not. Supposedly he worked on a farm and delivered milk across the river to Cincinnati to his wife's parents, the Agans. The person that supposedly adopted him bought the farm after her parents died. She was adopted by her aunt and uncle, Amanda and Joseph Mayham or Maham. Could someone please shed some light on this family?

Query: I'm searching for John L. Webster, who was married to Sallie Ann Cook (b. 1877?) I know that some people think his father was William Coleman Webster, but I have or have seen no actual proof of that. On the 1930 Census, he was shown with his wife, Sallie and sons Leroy, John Leslie, and Lamont. Interestingly enough, on the 1920 Census, Sallie was listed (with the boys and her parents, George W. and Mary Eliz. Wainscott) as being divorced. It has been mentioned on genealogy sites and in the book, "The Webster Family Album" by Robt. D Webster that John L. is John Lindsey (Lindsay. It was also reported that he was listed as 'Lessie' on the 1900 Census. The Lessie on that Census was Clarence Leslie Webster, a son of William Coleman Webster. So, I'm at a standstill. It has been rumored that John L. was sent to live on a farm and perhaps Webster is the name of the people who became his adoptive parents. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
