Query:    Looking for any information on the William Mosby/Moseby Grant family. I know much of the history and the connection and the family can be found on the various census' taken in Boone county. I am trying to find documented records to make the connection between John Grant-Mary Moseby (son of William Grant-Elizabeth Boone). I did find a copy of death records for Boone County on Ancestry.com that made the connection, but I may need more than that (I am trying to get into the Sons of the American Revolution). Any help here would be greatly appreciated. A will for William Mosby Grant would be very helpful as well. Thank you

Query:    I am Bob Yeo, married to Maureen Miller. The parents of Maureen's mother were Jeannetta Dickson and John Berry, both from the Walton area according to my wife. I have had some success looking up the Dicksons on Ancestry.com, but have not been able to locate the place of birth for John Berry or identify his parents. Here is what the 1910 census says about John Berry, living in Cincinnati, Ohio at the time. He was John M Berry, age 31, married 5 years to Alice J., from Kentucky and parents from Kentucky. Maureen tells me he was born on February 27, 1879, and was living in or near Walton. His middle name is Martin. Based on this I have searched the 1880 census for Kentucky looking for John Berry with no success. If the date of birth is correct, he would have been more than one year old at the time of the census. Next I have searched the LDS site and came up with no leads. Apparently, there are no records available from the local genealogical society or the state archives, at least on-line (We live in Missouri). I am hoping that you can direct me to a source who can help me find birth information for John Berry.

Query:    I am looking for any information about William Barnes (b. abt. 1770), who resided in Covington, Kentucky from after 1810 to sometime in the 1830's (before then on the Grassy Creek, Pendleton County) then moved to Boone County before 1840. That is according to Census and Tax records that I have looked at. In 1834, the Covington directory lists George A. Barnes as a resident. I think they may be related - William, the father, and George, the son. George A. Barnes is also the name of my 3x great grandfather, who was born about 1802 and died before 1838 in Kentucky, most likely northern Kentucky based on names listed in his wife's probate records.
