Vady (Hicks) Hughes (b. 1920, d. 07-18-1951) with grandson Billy Joe Hughes - circa
1950. Vady married Chester Hughes (b. 1900, d. ???) They lived in the Lackey, KY area of
Floyd county and had 2 known sons, Haskell Hughes (b. 05-11-1920, d. 02-01-1992) and
Willie Hughes (b. 08-06-1922, d. 10-14-1993 ). Vady, after unknown circumstances, came
to live Ashland, KY until her death in 1951. Haskell married Deloris (last name unknown)
and had one son, Haskell "Hackie" Jr., and lived in Ashland, KY until his death. His
wife still resides in Ashland and his son currently resides in California. Willie
married Alma Ailene Craycraft and had two sons, Billy Joe and Larry W. "Bucky". They
also lived in Ashland, KY until his death. His wife still resides in Ashland as well as

Thomas A Burchett And Letitia (Tish) Vaughn Burchett. Thomas Born 1827 and Letitia Born 1835 in Floyd County. They were married Jan 31 1850 in Floyd County, Lived on Buffalo Creek until after the Civil War .Then moved to Mo. Had eight children, four boys and four girls. They lived the Rest of their lives there. Thomas died in 1904. Letitia died In 1922. Both are buried in the Everett cemetery near Archie. Mo. Submitted by kermit collins |
