Caption: Time was when, between regular school terms, another kind of school was In session. It was then that the singing school opened, with an itinerant teacher In charge. The photo here reproduced Is that of the singing school held on Arkansas Creek, near Martin, in 1920 or 1921. Billy Morris, the teacher, stands at right in front row. Other adults in the group were Breen Click, Dock Click, Cassie Click, John Crum. Emmltt Conn, Jim Harrington and James Samons.
