The Cobb family was among the early settlers of Jessamine county and many of John W. Cobb's descendents remain there today. This cemetery is located on Chrisman Mill Road , southeast of Nicholasville . Among the families buried at this site are members of the Cobb, Blakeman, Burdine, Brumback, Brumfield, Fain, Hughes, Johns, Roberts, Stapp, Taylor, Townsend and Vanbibber families.
