Clayborne Butler was born in Hardin County, KY on 7 November 1878. He served as the railroad stationmaster at Oil City, KY from 1911 to 1941. He was married in 1911 to Rebecca Louise (Lulie) Cox (30 Apr 1883 - 1 May 1982). They had four daughters and one son. Their son died in infancy. Clayborne contracted polie in 1920 but recovered except for a badly withered right leg which did not affect his work. He died in 1943. |
