Anderson County Veterans Wall of Honor
The American Legion has erected a "WALL OF HONOR" with the names of over 1,200 Anderson County Veterans listed on it. It is estimated there are over 8,000 eligible veterans of this county, with nearly 4,700 from WWII alone.
To qualify for this honor a person needs to be or have been at any time a resident of Anderson County (not necessarily a native) who served in the armed forces or National Guard since WWI. We need the name (with middle initial), rank, branch of service, and years inducted and discharged. (Example-Cpl. J. T. Davenport, USArmy 1952-1954).Please submit these names to:
