That she is the widow of Marion Holt, dec. during the War of the late
rebellion, disappeared sometime in the year 1864 and that he belonged
to the Army
when she last saw him and she has not heard of him since.

she is the claiment in the above cited claim and that her husband,

State of TN, Co of Scott, 4th day of April 1891 personally appeared
Eanos
King, 78, resident of Isham, TN and John King, age 44, Of Isham, TN
swore they
were well acquainted with Marion Holt and Elizabeth S. Taylor, the wife
& widow
of Marion Holt and from our personal of them both know that neither of
them
had ever been married prior to their marriage in 1862. We further state
that the
maiden name of Mrs. Taylor was Elizabeth Wilson prior to her marriage
to
Marion Holt and have known her since a girl and ever since and that she
is now the
wife of Elic Taylor and that she married said Holt in time of Late
Rebellion
and after said Holt had joined the Army. We know what we testify to be
true
and lived neighbors to them and know if either of them had been married
before
they married each other, we have not heard of it.

State of TN, Co. of Scott, 18 April 1891 personally appeared before me
Justice of Peace, A. J. Ryan, aged 49. resident of Isham, Scott Co,
State of TN and
John Wilson aged 39 of Isham, Scott Co., State of TN, that we are
personally
acquainted with Elizabeth Taylor, and her late husband Elic Taylor and
do
further state that we was present and saw them married, and I, A.J.
Ryan, do
certify on my oath that I was Justice of the Peace for Scott Co., TN on
or about the
10th day of November 1879, did administer the rights of matrimony
between
Elic Taylor and Elizabeth S. Holt, and her maiden name Wilson and that
they were
lawfully married.

Medical Evidence State of Ohio Co. of Clinton
in the matter of Elizabeth Holt of the State of TN, I, J.M. Ramells,
M.D.
whose P.O. address is Wilmington, Co of Clinton, State of Ohio being
duly sworn
in, says his age is now 71 years and that he is a regular practicing
physcian
of 45 years practice
that he treated Elizabeth Holt, the wife of Marion Holt, in confinement
to
whom was born on the 24th day of September 1865 a child. From memory I
cannot
say whether the child was male or female. I have a record of the birth
of a
child at the above date but have not a record of its sex. Neither do I
have any
account of its name.
