"My grandmother Sophia Sharp Gregory/Bell was from Pulaski Co. My granddad
Jefferson Gregory and my step-grandfather Silas Caylor Bell were both from
Wayne Co. These pictures could be from either family or maybe just friends."
![]() The young man in this picture is my great uncle Esmon Gregory. On the back is written "Rosey and Jane Gregory". I now believe they are the daughters of Ben Gregory and Sarah "Sally" Burke. |
![]() "UNKNOWN"
|
![]() Written on the back "This is my baby Lillian Strong". I think Lillian is the d/o Roxie Pennington and Cleve Strong. If this is correct, then they would be Pulaski Co. family. |
![]() Written on the back "To Bessie G. from Nellie G. Feb. 1927". Bessie Gregory was my aunt. I now think the girl is Nellie Gregory daughter of Joe & Laurie Gregory. |
![]() "UNKNOWN" On the back in ink stamp is "CENSORED - Kentucky State Reformitory, Frankfort, KY - Apr. 11, 1925" I don't think that means this is an inmate, but sent TO an inmate. No, I don't know of any relatives in prison! |
![]() At first I thought it read "Tunser Rector", but on closer inspection I think it says "just a picture". Now I have no idea who this couple is. |
