Marilyn Gregory Fisher contributed

to know

"My grandmother Sophia Sharp Gregory/Bell was from Pulaski Co. My granddad
Jefferson Gregory and my step-grandfather Silas Caylor Bell were both from
Wayne Co. These pictures could be from either family or maybe just friends."
The young man in this picture is my great uncle Esmon Gregory. On the back is written "Rosey and Jane Gregory". I now believe they are the daughters of Ben Gregory and Sarah "Sally" Burke. |
"UNKNOWN"

Written on the back "This is my baby Lillian Strong". I think Lillian is the d/o Roxie Pennington and Cleve Strong. If this is correct, then they would be Pulaski Co. family. |
Written on the back "To Bessie G. from Nellie G. Feb. 1927". Bessie Gregory was my aunt. I now think the girl is Nellie Gregory daughter of Joe & Laurie Gregory. |
"UNKNOWN" On the back in ink stamp is "CENSORED - Kentucky State Reformitory, Frankfort, KY - Apr. 11, 1925" I don't think that means this is an inmate, but sent TO an inmate. No, I don't know of any relatives in prison! |
At first I thought it read "Tunser Rector", but on closer inspection I think it says "just a picture". Now I have no idea who this couple is. |
