The United Baptist Preacher, George Washington BROWN, was born April 3, 1874 in Wayne Co., KY, to Jane (BERTRAM) and Elijah BROWN. He married Martha Ellot STINSON on Dec. 2, 1892 in Clinton Co., KY. They are pictured on the porch of their last home in Fentress Co., TN in December 1955. George died in the hospital in Cookville, Cumberland Co., TN on July 15, 1959. Martha died in Fentress Co., TN on Oct. 28, 1969. They are both buried in Allardt Cemetery, Allardt, TN.
