There are stories told in our family that Mary M. and Benjamin F. SEAY were not the natural children of Samuel and Susannah. There were adoped from an Indian tribe (possible Chickasaw. Never found any proof but in Susannah's will she did not leave Mary anything nor did she ref. to her as her daughter. Leaves one to wonder why our family would tell us this if it were not true. Anyhow for now we claim the SEAY/BALEE lines as ours.
