This is a picture of the FRANKLIN GRADED SCHOOL in December 1927.
It was located on South Main Street at the corner of Breckenridge Street in Franklin, Simpson Co, Ky.
The building was formerly the Southern School of Osteopathy which closed about 1907.
This building housed the twelve-year school until 1917 when grades 7-12 were moved to another building.
Grades 1-6 continued at the Franklin Graded School until 1957.
