Possibly Burton School.  My
husband's grandfather Earah Burton is in this picture.  He is the second
from the left in the second standing row.  We estimate he is around 10 or
so.  I have heard that the children in the Rockvale area would have attended
Burton School that was across the road from Macedonia Baptist Church.  I
understand the school was still standing in the 1950s.  Land for the school was donated by
the Burtons although I don't know at this time which one.  I would presume
it would be Edward D. Burton who was Edward Crittendon Burton's father.  If
you have any further information I would appreciate it greatly.
