The Will of Benjamin Stogsdill 1811 Pulaski County, Kentucky Probate Records...FHL #0598753 Stogsdill, Benjamin Will March the 26th in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and Eleven I Benjamin Stogsdill of the State of Kentucky and County of Pulaski being weak in body but perfect in Sense and memory Knowing the mortality of man that it is appointed to man once to die do make & appoint this my last will and testament. I appoint my well beloved wife Sarah Stogsdill, and Elish Barnes my Executors and is my will that my wife should have the right to my land and plantation with all the tenements appertaining thereto, and stock ____ and household furniture during her life time, and widowhood. It is my will that my mother Sarah Stogsdill, should live with my wife and have her maintainance during life and also it is my will that at the expiration of my wife Sarah life time and widowhood that my land testements, stock, household furniture should then be sold as the law directs, and be equally divided among my children and it is my will that my wife and Elijah Barnes should pay of all Just debts that comes against my Estate and also to collect any moneys & property that are due me.
