The Will of David McKinzie 10 Feb 1849, Pulaski County, Kentucky Book 3, p 1114 David McKinzie at his residence in Pulaski County KY on the 10th day of Feb 1849 as his last ----- made the following bequest and called upon James Barron and Ephraim Mercer to take notice of the same he gave all his goods and chattles in his house one sorel mare two bundle cows and the geese to his daughter Elizabeth McKinzie to have and to hold during her natural life for her only use and benefit and after her death that the property he willed her be sold and the money equally divided among his children on this his {different writing, looks like it was added in at another time}-Feb 15th 1849 signed James Barron and Ephraim Mufser 1849 April 16th proven by oaths James Barron and Eli Mufser State of Kentucky, Pulaski County Rec'd in Book 3 p1114 At a County Court held for the County afs'd at the Courthouse thereof in the Town of Somerset on Monday the 16th day of April 1849 this writing purporting to be the last will and testament of David McKinzie Dec'd was this day produced in Court and proven by the Oaths of James Barron and Ephraim Mufser Subscribing witnefs thereto to be the act and deed of the said David McKinzie and being examined and approved by the Court was ordered to be recorded and the same is done accordingly. |
