family with two daughters named Nancy and Harriet. Nancy married Henry
KIMBLE (from France) and settled in Russell Co., Ky. and Harriet
married Stephen A. LEE and settled on Randolph Street in the town of
Liberty in Casey Co., KY. Harriet was born in 1806 in Virginia and
Nancy was born around 1810-1815 in Casey Co., Ky. This family may have
lived in Barren Co. or Pulaski Co. for a time when the girls were
small. WILKINSON is also often spelled WILKERSON. There may have been
another sister named Elizabeth or that may have been their mother. Do
you know who the parents of these girls were?

I am looking for an Andrew J. PARNELL, possibly born in
Indiana, lived
in the Adair County and surrounding counties from 1850 until his
death. My cousin and I recently went to Adair and found Civil war
records for a neighbors application for Widow Pension wherein he was a
witness to her needs. We believe he was married to a Martha CAMP. We
know his children were Henry G., Andrew J., David, Margaret, Zephora,
James, and possibly an Issac. Andrew's Parents were John and Candice
PARNELL. Candice was approximately 101 years old when she died in
1907and is buried at Morris Chapel Cemetary. We believe that John was
buried in Casey County. All of the boys either died in the Civil War
or moved to Illinois. Their daughter Margaret married a COOMER, took
care of Candice in her old age, and inherited a majority of Candices
estate. Civil War Records indicate that Andrew and Martha may have
lived in Paulaski County about 1861. He may have also lived in Wayne
County at some point. He doesn't show up on the 1870 Census, but he
returns to Adair again on the 1880 Census. Please don't confuse this
Andrew with his nephew who had the same name who died in 1925, and is
buried in the Parnell Family Cemetary in Adair. Any information
regarding Andrew and his brothers and sisters would be greatly
appreciated.
