This is Harmon Fox. The son of John Fox and Hannah Riley Fox. Harmon Fox was born in Owsley County, Ky. on January 15, 1855. He died in Allen, Ok. Pontotoc County. on October 25, 1913. The woman in the picture is his second wife Fannie Mason. Harmon married her after his first wife Sarah Jane Smith died in 1892 in Ark. Harmon and Sarah Jane had nine children. Six of them lived to be adults. Their first child Lucinda ,who was the only one of the children to be born in Kentucky, is my grandmother. Harmon and Fannie had 12 children. The little girl sitting on the chair was Harmon and Fannie's first daughter, Mamie. She is the only one of the Fox children still living. She will be 102 on Nov. 6th, 2001. She lives in Belton, TX. in a nursing home. She will have a birthday party Sat. the 3rd at Belton. I will be going.
