ADOLPHUS LEE & MARY KATHERINE (POYNTER) DOUGLAS

Adolphus Lee Douglas (1882-1975) was born on 29 July 1882 and died on 2 December 1975. He was the son of James L. & Elbridge (Gossett) Douglas. He married Mary Katherine Poynter (1882-1945) who was born on 6 Dec 1882 and died on & 7 Aug 1945. She was the daughter of James Abner & Lauretha F. "Fanny" Williams. Adolphus and Mary K. were married on 23 May 1901 in Edmonton in Metcalfe County. Both are buried in the Douglas - Poynter Cemetery in Northern Metcalfe County. (Photo taken in the 1930's - 40's; they are my paternal grandparents).
