George W. Bowling died on August 6, 1939 and is buried in Phillips Graveyard on Dog Trot Road, Cornwell, Menifee County, Kentucky.

A NOTE FROM BEATRICE BOWLING ZIENKOSKY:

Dr. George Bowling was a doctor in Menifee County for over 50 years and died in 1939. My father was Laben Bowling, Dr. Bowlings son. He disappeared in 1945 or there abouts while living in Ohio. He was last in Menifee in 1939 before grandad died in August of 1939. No one has seen him since in that area. I have not one photo of my father and no other relative does either. If someone who sees your website would know anything about him I would be eternally grateful. He was in WW I also.
