Mrs. Flora Ramsey King, Norwood, Ohio, died May 20 in General
Hospital, Cincinnati, following an illness of one week. Her
husband, Fred King Jr., survives./ She was a daughter of
the late Lewis S. Waters and Nannie Jane Troxell Waters and was
born on Jan. 4, 1916. She was a housewife and a member of the
Pleasant Rock Baptist Church at Smithtown./ Survivors
include eleven children. They are Mrs. Jacqueline Waters and Mrs.
Anna Ball, both of Stearns, Mrs. Mary Taylor and Mrs. Sandra
Roberts, both of Louisville, Roy Ramsey, Opal Ramsey, Morris
Ramsey and Jimmy Ramsey, all of Cincinnati, and children of a
first marriage; Freda Carol, Debra and Fred King, III, all of
Cincinnati; one brother, Alonzo Waters of Norwood, Ohio; two
sisters, Mrs. Artie Hughes of Sidney, Ohio and Mrs. Beulah Rains
of Bethel, Ohio, and 18 grandchildren./ Rev. Herbert Perry
and the Rev. Maynard Blevins conducted funeral services May 23 in
the Pleasant Rock Baptist Church./ Burial was in Hickman
Cemetery with McCreary County Funeral Home in charge of
arrangements./ Pallbearers were Lester Key, Billy Ball, Jim
Gibson, Harold Waters, Buck Bradley and Robert Pierce.

Mr. Marion Keith
Mr. Marion
Keith, 86 years of age, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs.
Jack Jones, Wiborg, Ky. Tuesday January 6th after months of
illness. Mr. Keith was a civil war veteran and had lived
most of his life in McCreary County. He leaves seven
children and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren to
mourn his loss. Funeral services and burial were held in
the Cooper Cemetery Friday, January 10th
