WATERS
NIM WATERS, 62, a retired coal miner,
died Tuesday, May 30, at his home in Hill Top, Ky. Mr. Waters the
son of Jim and Rowena Slaven Waters, was born March 9, 1899, in
Wayne County, Ky., but lived most of his life in McCreary County.
Surviving are his wife, Nellie Waters,
four sons, Ray Slavens, Jim Waters, Vermilion, Ohio; James
Waters, Loagansport, Ind., and Speedy Waters, Hill Top; four
daughters, Edna, Ester and Bonnie Lou Waters, and Mrs. Effie
Jones Hill Top. Also surviving is one brother, Elmer Waters, Hill
Top.
Funeral services were held Thursday at 2
o'clock from the Wolf Creek School with Rev. Levi Cox
officiating. Burial was in the Jim Coffey Cemetery.
