Lula Bell Vanover
Mrs. Lula Bell Vanover, 63 died
June 12, at Strunk, KY. terminating a prolonged illness. A native of the
Honey Bee community, Mrs Vanover had been living at Strunk for two months.
Mrs Vanover was born Lula Bell
Perry, daughter of O. B. Perry and AManda Smith Perry, both deceased. She
was married July 24, 1920, to Anell Vanover, who survives. She was a
member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, three daughters, Mrs
Vida Bryant, Williamsburg; Mrs Viola Steele, Honey Bee; Mrs Ovada Cox, Alva K1;
four sons, Boyd and Lee Vanover living in Ohio; Paul Vanover, Michigan, and Loyd
Vanover in the U.S. Army; five brothers; Add Perry, Revelo; Found Perry,
Indiana; Earl Perry, Somerset; Naman Perry, Honey Bee; Lander Perry, Florida;
and one sister, Miss Dollie Perry, Danville, Ky. Funeral services were held
Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Indian Creek Church with Rev. Roscoe Spradin and Rev
Robert Patrick officiating . Burial was in the Indian Creek Cemetery.
