Charles Lindsey Cooper, 86, Revelo died April 27 in Stanford of a
lingering illness./ A native of Pine Knot he was born March
17, 1890 to George and Olive Ball Cooper. His wife Mary Etta
Carter Cooper, preceded him in death./ Survivors include
six children, George Cooper and Edwina Black, Tucson, Ari., Ruth
Smith, Danville and Mae Ball, Mable McDonald and Lois Troxell of
Revelo. Four children and a sister preceded him in death./
Other survivors include 28 grandchildren and 53
great-grandchildren./ A member of the First Hickory Grove
Baptist Church, he was a retired miner./ Funeral services
were held April 29 at 2 p.m. at the church by Revs. Howard
Davenport and Loyd King. Burial was in the Bethel
Cemetery./ Funeral arrangements were handled by the
McCreary County Funeral Home.
