Thomas Jefferson "Jeff" Maynard circa 1940.
He was born 10-18-1882 and died 7-11-1951. He was the son of William
Bradley (alias Maynard) and Tabitha Maynard. Thomas' father William
used the surname Bradley according to his marriage record, but soon
afterwards assumed the surname of his wife Tabitha which was

Jesse H. "Hog" Maynard circa 1942.
Jesse was born 06-16-1921 and died 06-15-2003. Before he had a large
family with his wife Sarah Frances (Mollet), he acknowledged he had
a relationship with Ada Davis and together they had a child who
maintained a close relationship with Jesse's family. Jesse's parents
were Harrison and Susie [Preston (alias Coleman)] Maynard. Even
though Jesse's mother Susie used the surname Coleman before she
married Harrison Maynard, it was not her real maiden name. Her true
surname was Preston since her biological father was P. McClellan
Preston who had a relationship with Susie's mother Mary Anne
(Dempsey) and together they had Susie before he later married Mary
Anne's first cousin Lucinda Anne (Dempsey). Since Susie's mother
Mary Anne (Dempsey) married John Coleman, Susie was raised as his
own and she used his last name.
