Young, 82, retired construction worker for Thompson, King and Tate General
Contracting and widow of Virginia Todd Young, died Saturday, September 13, 2003.
Born in Richmond, KY, he was a son of the late Steve and Margaret Johns Young. A
Marine Corp veteran of WW II, he was a member of South Elkhorn Christian Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Jeaneta (Ronnie) McClure, Hannalock, NC; a
sister, Sally Roberts, Lexington; two grandsons and his dog, Bo. In addition to
his wife, two brothers, Henry and Fred Young, preceded him in death. Services
will be 1:30 PM Tuesday at W.R. Milward Mortuary-Broadway, conducted by Pastor
Jeffery J. Fugate. Burial will follow at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens, Jessamine
Co. Visitation will be 6-9 PM Monday. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the
Bluegrass, 2312 Alexandria Dr, Lexington, KY 40504.
