Burnin White
age 76 of Bronston, passed away Friday, July 2, 2004 at the Lake
Cumberland Regional Medical Center in Somerset.
Burnin was
born in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Robert and Jenny Ellen Yonts
White. He was a self employed woodworker and a member of the Church of
Christ.
He is
survived by his five children Burnin (Joan) White, Jr. of Pikeville,
Luther (Lucinda) White of Versailles, Wilma (B.J.) Burns of Waco, Altina
(Cecil) Malicote of Berea and Ellen (Frank) Troxell of Burnside; one
sister Cecil Hall of Somerset; 14 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren
and one great-great grandchild.
In addition
to his parents, Burnin was also preceded in death by his wife Magnolia
Johnson White, two sons Noah and Talmadge White and four grandchildren,
Christopher and Shawn White, Gregory Van and Gregory Lee Malicote.
Funeral
services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 4, 2004 at Lakes Funeral Home in
Berea with Bro. Jack Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the
Talmadge Johnson Cemetery on Scaffold Cane Rd. in Berea. Visitation will
be Saturday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers
will be Mark New, Tim Malicote, Cory White, William Robinson, Titus
Malicote, Nick Strunk, Faron Robinson and Lester Hall. Honorary bearers
will be Clifford Coffee, Kenneth Johnson, Carter Johnson and William
“Doopy” Johnson.
