Herbert R. Taylor, age 77, of 192 Glades Road, Berea, died suddenly Thursday, April 1, 2004 at his residence. He was born in Butler County, Ohio, on May 6, 1926, a retired L & N Railroad employee, former truck driver, W W II U.S. Army veteran, and member of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by his mother, Ollie Ball Taylor of Berea, 4 children, Linda Bonnett of Richmond, Mary (Tim) Love of Fort Payne, Alabama, Danny (Ada) Taylor and David (Judy) Taylor both of Berea; 1 sister, Rosa Legear of Richmond, Indiana; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Tom Taylor, his wife of 21 years, Edna Calico Taylor, 1 sister and 1 grandson.

Funeral service 11:00 am Monday, April 5, 2004 at Reppert Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Pack officiating. Burial will follow in Berea Cemetery. Visitation 6 - 9 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be: Kevin Taylor, Tommy Woodside, Chad Moberly, Fred Cox, Jeff Blanton, Shane Moberly.
