Starnes, Cecil


Cecil Starnes,80, 1238 Nice Drive, husband of Barbara Elam Starnes died Friday December 20, 2002 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was a retired carpenter with the Local Carpenters Union #1650, born in Madison County, Kentucky son of the late Gilbert and Mary Hurt Starnes and he served with the U.S.Army during World War II. Surviving besides his wife of fifty-six years are two sisters, Hazel Anderson, Garrard County, Kentucky, Barbara Jean Rhodus, [Wayne], Medway, Ohio, several nieces and nephews and four sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law. Funeral services will be 11:30 A.M. Thursday at the W.R.Milward Mortuary-Southland conducted by Rev. Don King with burial in Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Jessamine County. Casketbearers will be his nieces and nephews.
