Pearl Wilson
Slusher, age 85, of 1208 McKee Road, Berea, died Monday, March 29, 2004
at the Terrace from complications of Alzheimer's. She was lifelong
resident of Madison County born Oct. 1, 1918, daughter of late Barnett
and Belle Burns Wilson, a homemaker, and member of Silver Creek Baptist
Church.
Survivors
include nieces and nephews, Ruth Rogers Davis (Ben), Sarah Wilson Riley,
Fern Wilson Botkin (Fred), Pat Wilson (Anne) all of Berea, Annabelle
Rogers Richardson (Cecil), Verelene Sturdevan, Walter Wilson (Freda),
Wallace Wilson (Emmalene), Charles Wilson (Delores) all of Lexington,
Carter Nelson Rucker of Florida, Barnett "Bill" Rogers (Anne) of
Tennessee, Jean Marsh (Jim) of Ohio, as well as numerous great nieces,
great nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition
to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Elmer
Slusher, 4 sisters, Ethel Alexander Lakes, Rachel Rogers, Gladys Wilson,
Rosa Nell Rucker, and 4 brothers, Alfred B. Wilson, Joe Wilson, Leonard
Wilson, Balis Wilson.
Funeral
service 1:00 pm Thursday, April 1, 2004 at Reppert Funeral Home with
Rev. Bruce Rendleman and Rev. Kenny Davis officiating. Burial will
follow in Berea Cemetery. Visitation 6 - 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral
home.
Pallbearers
will be: Bruce Davis, Clifford Baker, Clyde Parker, Jack Hale, Cecil
Richardson, Jr., Ben Jeromy Davis.
