Travis Cameron Simpson age 31 of Dale Rd. Berea died Sunday April 25, 2004. Travis is a member of the White Lick Baptist Church, a deputy Jailer for the Madison County Detention Center, and was 2 weeks away from graduation at EKU Criminal Justice Training School with honors.

Travis is survived by his son William Jennings Simpson, 1 sister Casey (Jeremy) McHargue, 1 brother Timothy C. (Johnna) Simpson. Grandparents Wid and Speedy Jennings, parents Richard and Dianne Bailey, and Terry Simpson. 2 nieces Bailey and Cherish, 2 nephews Chandler and Bradey.

Funeral services will be Tuesday April 27, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home, with Rev. Ed Hubbard, and Rev. Billy Pack. Burial will be in the Robinson Cemetery. Pallbearers are Corey Simpson, Tim Simpson, Jeremy McHargue, Josh Wagers, Bartlee Bowman, and Steven Bailey. Honorary pallbearers are Jamie Wynn, and Bill Jennings. Visitation will be Monday April 26, 2004 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Lakes Funeral Home.
