Ray W. Revel Jr.

Ray W. Revel Jr., 60, of Ellis Court, Richmond, passed from this Earth at 8:45
p.m. Sunday, September 19, 2004, at the UK Medical Center.
He was a native of Madison County and the son of the late Cindy and Ray W. Revel
Sr. Ray was an Army veteran of Vietnam, a Kentucky Colonel and a small engine
mechanic.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Paul B.
Revel, two brothers-in-law, Bill Lovett and Paul Rose and a nephew, Billy Ray
Lovett.
Ray is survived by his son, Ray Anthony "Tony" (Melissa) Revel, of Harrodsburg;
four sisters Louise (Nelson) Lowery, Mary (Ora) Mullins, Betty Jean Harrison and
Loraine Rose, all of Richmond; three nieces and five nephews; several
great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Other survivors
include special friends, Betty and Drew Dixon, and the Andrew Begley family, all
of Ravenna.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Oldham, Roberts & Powell
Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, at Oldham, Roberts & Powell
Funeral Home, with Bro. Harry Revel, Bro. Charlie Wilson and Bro. Silas Keene
officiating. Pallbearers are Jimmy Revel, Steve Lowery, David Mullins, Randy
Mullins, Drew Dixon, Aaron Lear and Tommy Hisle.
