Bonnie Rose Powell age 65 of Garrard Co. died Sunday Feb. 8, 2004 at her mother’s home in Berea. Bonnie was a homemaker, and a member of the 1016 Holiness Church in Berea. Bonnie was preceded in death by her father Albert Rose, 6 brothers: Hesmer Rose, Lester Rose, Earl Rose, Henry Rose, Virgil Rose and JB Rose. 4 sisters Della Rose Rader, Beulah Rose, Ann Sims and Viola Ballinger.

Bonnie is survived by her Husband Leon Powell of Garrard Co. Mother Mary Fox Rose of Berea. One Sister VeRon Moore of Berea, 3 brothers Dewey (Helen) Rose and RB (Bertha) Rose all of McKee, KY, and Albert (Evelyn) Rose Jr. of Connersville, IN. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday Feb. 10, 2004 at 11:00 AM at the Lakes Funeral Home. Rev. Leonard Wilder will officiate the services, nephews will serve as pallbearers. Entombment will be in the Berea Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be Monday after 5:00 PM at the Lakes Funeral Home.
