Chester Pittman
PITTMAN, Chester, 73, of Lexington, formerly of Clay City, husband of Katherine
Pittman, passed away Wed. Sept. 22, 2004 at St. Joseph Hospital. Born in Waco,
KY, he was the son of the late James Dewey and Ollie Brandenberg Pittman. He was
a guest facilitator with Meijer in Hamburg Pavilion and a member of Revival
Tabernacle. Besides his wife, he is survived by; two sons, Wayne Pittman,
Lexington, and Michael Pittman, Miamisburg, OH; a daughter, Kimberly Pittman,
Miamisburg, OH; two brothers, Jack Pittman, Richmond and Tommy Pittman,
Lexington; two sisters, Mable Stamper and Laura Denny both of Nicholasville;
four grandchildren; lots of nieces and nephews; and a god-daughter, Shawna
Smith, Clay City. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Hurst and three
brothers, Ray and George Pittman and Charles Shouse. Visitation will be 5-9 pm
today (Thursday) at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, Main St. in Lexington. An
additional visitation will be held 5-9 pm Friday at Wells Funeral Home in Clay
City, KY. Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday at Wells Funeral Home in
Clay City by Brother Byron Jessup and Brother John Jessup. Burial will follow in
the Eaton Cemetery in Clay City. Pallbearers will be Billy Pittman, Michael
Westfall, Justin Pittman, Brian Smith, Aaron Linville, and Paul Reams. Guestbook
