Ethel Kanatzar Moores, 97, of
Richmond, died Tuesday at Richmond Health & Rehabilitation Complex in Richmond.
She was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Christian Church, Richmond. Her
husband, James W. Moores, died in 1972.
Survivors include daughters, Henrietta Risk of Union City and Marjorie Turner of
Erlanger; sisters, Minnie Perkins and Edith Stocker, both of Richmond, Maranda
Stocker of Nicholasville and Carrie Clem of Winchester; three grandchildren; two
step-grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home,
Richmond. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Burial
will be in Richmond Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Union City Baptist
