Annie Lou McKinney

GEORGETOWN - Annie Lou McKinney, 85, widow of Lonnie McKinney, died Fri., Oct. 22, 2004. She was born in Jackson County on Jan. 2, 1919, and was the daughter of the late Gentry and Katie Griffith Powell. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Survivors include sons, William Raymond McKinney, Richmond, KY, Lonnie Estill McKinney, Lexington, KY, Charles Randall McKinney, Nicholasville, KY; daughters, Lucy Martin and Ollie Jones, Lexington, KY, Virgie Lena Holder, Stamping Ground, KY, Shirley Faye Cook, Georgetown, KY, Nellie Sue McKinney, London, KY; brothers, Johnny Virgil Powell, Georgetown, KY, Albert Powell, Sand Gap, KY; sisters, Linie Powell and Marie Smith, Richmond, KY, Margaret Barnes, Indianapolis, IN, Lillie Powell, Lawrenceburg, KY, June Powell, PA, Gladys Abrams, Morehead, KY; 23 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Mon., Oct. 25, 2004 at 2 pm at the Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Connie Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Georgetown Cemetery.
