Mary McBee McCord, 94, of McCord Lane, Richmond passed away Sunday October 19, 2003 at the Patti A. Clay Regional Medical Center. She was a member of the Mount Pleasant Christian Church, and the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hugh (Pearl Brown) McBee. She was preceded in death by her husband, William McCord, 2 Sisters Eva Fox and Martha Griffith, 2 brothers Estill and Evans McBee, and 2 Half-Brothers Jimmy and Hugh McBee. She is survived by 2 Sons, John (Nora) McCord, Evan (Lillian) McCord, A twin sister, Ruth Armstrong of Crab Orchard, Kentucky. A half brother Eugene McBee, a half sister, Barbara Watson. Mrs. McCord is also survived by Grandchildren Junie (Rodney) Barclay, Amy (Robert) Allen, and Christy (Chris) Cole. Her great-grandchildren are Drew Cole, Andy Dezarn, Amanda Dezarn, and Kaylee Allen along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Billy George Griffith, Andy Dezarn, Drew Cole, Marion Fox, Tom Fox, Richard Fox, and David McBee.

Funeral services for Mrs. McCord will be conducted Wednesday October 22, 2003 at 1:00 PM at the Turpin Funeral home with Brother Shannon Franklin and Brother Tim Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 Tuesday October 21, 2003 at the funeral home.
