Harold
C. Lynch, 88, husband of Helen F. Lynch, died Monday at the Hospice Care Center
at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born in Madison County, the son of William and
Mamie Gooch Lynch. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother and
sister in law, Martin T. and Judy Lynch, Bourbon Co; two nieces, Sandra Lynch
Pike, St. Louis, MO, and Daphne B. Lynch, Lexington; great nephews, John R.
Pike, Lexington, Jason Pike, Florida, Michael Lynch, Lexington, and Marty Lynch,
Lexington. He did plumbing, heating and construction work and retired as owner
of Martin and Lynch, INC, and was a member of Providence Christian Church.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 pm today at W.R. Milward Mortuary-Broadway.
Services will be 11:30 AM Thursday, conducted by Rev. Gerald Johns of Providence
Christian Church, with burial in the Lexington Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ken
Brandenburgh, Michael Lynch, Whitey Headen, Donald Southworth, Cecil Gibson and
Joe Minor. Contributions may be made to the Providence Christian Church Building
Fund, 4650 Nicholasville Rd, Lexington, KY, 40515 or Hospice of the Bluegrass,
2312 Alexandria Dr, Lexington, KY, 40504.
