Herbert Enis
Lanter, 98, of Concord Road, passed away Wednesday March 24, 2004 at the
Richmond Health and Rehabilitation Complex- Kenwood. He was born
November 3, 1905 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Enis (Fannie Wall) Lanter. He
was a farmer, landowner and worked at Madison Livestock Sales for 38
years. He attended Doylesville Methodist Church. He is proceeded in
death by his wife Alma Eades Lanter, a brother Clifford Lanter, a sister
Rachel Lanter Wright, and a son in law Richard Tate.

Funeral
services for Mr. Lanter will be conducted Saturday March 27, 2004 at
11:00 AM at the Turpin Funeral Home with Reverend Sam Knox officiating.
Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8
Friday March 26, 2004 at the Turpin Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers
donations may be sent to the Doylesville United Methodist Church c/o
