October, 1995 Mr. Thomas Johnson, age
60, of 867 McAfee Lane, Salvisa, died Thursday, October 12, 1995 at his
residence. Born January 18, 1935 in
Madison County, he was the son of the late Tom and Mary Margaret Lewis Johnson.
He was an Electronic Technician for RV Cable Co. for 20 years, a member of the
Christian Church in Richmond, the VFW and American Legion. He was a 20 year
veteran of the U. S. Navy. Survivors include: his
wife, Rosie Mae Jones Johnson, Salvisa; two sons, Deryl Lee Johnson, Jessamine
County and Stan Kenneth Johnson, Clark County; one daughter, Regina Gregory of
Mercer County; six sisters, Alene Royalty, Fern Creek, Elsie King, Berea,
Shelbie Lanham, Burgin, Katie Truett and Lucille Dyehouse, both of Richmond, and
Mildred Curtsinger of Texas; three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a
son, Dwayne Thomas Johnson, and a brother, Leroy Johnson. Services for Mr. Johnson were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 16 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Bro. Terry Morrison officiating. Burial was in the Ebenezer Cemetery. |
