Alma R. Howard, 78, of North Maple Street, passed away Friday August 13, 2004 at the Richmond Health and Rehabilitation Complex- Kenwood. She was born May 30, 1926 in Perry County to the late Mr. and Mrs. Arlie (Mary Magdalene Chaney) Carter. She was a retired Nursing Assistant and a member of the Church of God. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother Orvil Carter and a sister Hazel Wells. She is survived by

Pallbearers will be Jr. Lovett, Terry Lovett, James Weaver, Marce Wells, Paul Wells, and Robert York.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday August 16, 2004 at 10:00 AM at the Turpin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday August 15, 2004 at the funeral home.
