Marie Crowe
Highley, 88, of Richmond passed away Monday January 12, 2004 at the
Richmond Health and Rehabilitation Complex - Madison Manor. She was a
native of Clark County a retired Smart Shop Employee, a member of the
First Baptist Church and a member of the Mary Gullatt Women on Missions
Class. She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Sidney
Crowe and her husband William Bradley Highley. She is survived by one
son, Pat (Marcy) Highley of Richmond; one grandson, Brad (Dannette)
Highley of Lexington; one great-grandson, Owen Bradley Highley of
Lexington; a sister in law, Cora Warren; two brother in laws, Russell
Highley Jr. and Charley Highley; and several nieces, nephews and
cousins. Pallbearers will be Brett Short, Simm VanArsdale, Brian Ochs,
Shawn Cruse, Jeff Randolph, and Brad Highley. Honorary pallbearers will
be Steve, David, and Eric Burnett. Funeral services will be conducted
Wednesday January 14, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the Turpin Funeral Home with
Rev. John Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Machpelah
Cemetery, Mt. Sterling. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday
January 13, 2004 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may
be sent to the First Baptist Church, C/O Building Fund, P.O. Box 697,
Richmond. |
