James Mitchell
"Mitch" Harris, 66, of Boone Trail, of Richmond, the husband of Grace Harris
died Sunday April 25, 2004 at his home.
A native of Estill County he was a master mechanic and employee of the Concrete
Material Company. He was a member of the John F. Marshall Memorial Holiness
Church.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Harris; three sons, Mike (Janet) Harris ,
Randall (Kendra) Harris and Ronnie (April) Harris, all of Richmond; two
daughters, Trish (Daniel) Hatton and Cynthia (Randy) Chrisman , both of
Richmond; four brothers, Bob Harris of Dayton, Ohio, Denver Hitt of Tennessee,
Travis Harris of Indiana and Lloyd Harris of Ashland; one sister, Naomi
Omohundro of Maryland; seven grandchildren, Dwayne Harris, Steven Hatton, Justin
Chrisman, Donovan Chrisman, Corey Harris, Shawna Oschwald and Melanie Lee; five
great grandchildren, Taylor Oschwald, Karston, Jayden and Cameron Harris and
Laynie Lee.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Martha Harris, his
step-mother, Lillie Mae Hitt Harris; two brothers, Edwin and Dewey Harris and
one sister, Louise Vickery.
Funeral services
will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, at the Oldham, Roberts and Powell Funeral
Home with Rev. Elvie Evans and Rev. Calvin Marshall officiating. Visitation will
be after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Josh Oschwald, Dwayne Harris, Brian Lee, James Davis, Marvin
Marshall and Bobby Davis. Corey Harris and Donovan Chrisman will service as
honorary bearers. |
