Dolores Marcott Harris

Dolores Marcott Harris, 57, of Lowell Avenue in Richmond, died Sunday, Sept. 5,
2004, at her home.
She was born April 15, 1947, in Kansas City, Mo. She was a domestic engineer and
member of Eastside Baptist Church, where she was active in the kitchen ministry
and Circle of Friends Sunday school class.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bertha "Buggs" McCoy Marcott.
Dolores is survived by her husband, Sammy Harris; her father, Richard Marcott of
Richmond; her son, Scott (Patty) Harris of Berea; two daughters, Sheri Harris of
Berea and Stacey (Jason) Stewart of Richmond; one brother, Richard "Dickie"
(Kathy) Marcott of Milledgeville, Ga.; two sisters, Michele Marcott and Debbie
(Dee) King, both of Richmond; eight grandchildren, Josh Azbill, Christopher
Harris, Christy Azbill, Heather Azbill, Kimberly Harris, Andrew Devere, Matthew
Devere and Nathan Stewart; her mother-in-law, Bernice Chambers of Florida; nine
nieces and nephews, Alison Marcott, Adam Marcott, Chris King, Nancy Morgan,
Kenny Puckett, Rana Cress, Delaina Puckett, Tim Harris and Tonette Harris; and a
host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2004, at the
Combs, Parsons and Collins Funeral Home with Dr. Virgil Grant and the Rev.
Johnathan Tussey officiating. Burial will follow in the Madison Memorial
Gardens.
Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the Combs, Parsons and Collins
Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Devere, Kenny Stewart, Scott Harris, Wendell
Stewart, Adam Marcott and Kenny Puckett.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Gabbard, Christopher Harris, Josh Azbill,
Richard Marcott II, Lewis Dean Reynolds and Randall Curry.
