Douglas Gene
Grant, 66, of Deepwood Drive, passed away Thursday June 17, 2004. He was
born March 12, 1938 and was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Seth (Ethel
Breedlove) Grant. He was a deacon and Sunday School Teacher at the Waco
Baptist Church, former owner of Doug’s Men’s Wear, a realtor at Century
21 and former employee of Lowes. In addition to his parents, he is
preceded in death by a sister Mabel Morgan and a brother John T. Grant.

Grant. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons and Fellowship Class of
the Waco Baptist Church.
Funeral
Services will be conducted Saturday June 19, 2004 at 11:00 AM at the
Turpin Funeral Home with Reverend Fred Livingood officiating. Burial
will follow in the Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to
8:00 PM Friday June 18, 2004 at the Turpin Funeral Home. In lieu of
flowers the family request donations to be sent the American Heart
