Sally Cloyd Collins Evans passed away on July 11, 2003 at the Fairfax Nursing Center in Fairfax Virginia. She is survived by her son, Richard L. Evans, Jr; her daughter Sally Cloyd Evans and two grandchildren, William Michael Evans and Mary Lynn Evans all of Alexandria, Virginia. Mrs. Evans was a native of Widen, West Virginia and atteneded Berea College, In Berea, Kentucky. She lived in Ohio before moving to the Washington area following the death of her husband, Richard L. Evans, Sr, in 1970. A memorial graveside service will be held Saturday August 2, 2003 at the Richmond Cemetery. In leiu of flowers, the family requested donations to Hospice of Northern Virgina, 9300 Lee Hwy, Fairfax, Virginia 22031 or the Alzheimers Research Center, 640 Jackson Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota 55101.
