Dorothy Huff Bryant, 81, of 462 Mt. Vernon Road, Berea, died Thursday, Oct. 8, at her residence following an illness. She was a Madison County native born Aug. 9, 1923, daughter of the late Andy and Laura Howard Huff Barrett, former employee of Parker Seal Company, and member of Conway Baptist Church.

Survivors include 4 children, Howard (Barbara) Belcher of Lexington; Bonnie ("Moose") Howell, Linda (Donnie) Shouse, Jennifer Bryant, all of Berea; 1 brother Floyd Huff of Tennessee; 1 sister, Myrtle Dowden of Ohio; 8 grandchildren, Vonda Bratcher, David Todd, Tracie Howard, Kenny Howell, Paula Miller, Niki Shouse, Tony Shouse, Tyler Adams; 6 great grandchildren, Brittany, Hannah, Dylan, Hayleigh, Mckenzie, Madison. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral service 1:00 PM, Monday, Oct. 11, 2004 at Reppert Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Howard and Bro. Jim Ritchie officiating. Burial will follow in Berea Cemetery. Visitation 6 - 9 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Grandsons and grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers. Granddaughters and granddaughters-in-law will serve as honorary pallbearers.
